For me it all started with massage, it is something I did even as a child. I know that might seem strange, but I grew up in a big family with three older sisters and there was always someone asking me to massage their shoulders or feet.
It wasn’t until my early 20’s when I finally quit the exciting life of an insurance broker and set off on a journey of adventure and discovery.
Starting in India, I visited my sister and spent time with her in the ashram she was living in, experiencing a yogic way of life and learning meditation. My travels then took me to Thailand to learn the art of Thai Massage at the Old Chang Mai Medicine School and then an intensive ITM 390 hour Advanced Practitioner Teacher Training course. It felt amazing to find a skill that I really connected with and seemingly good at.
On my return to Jersey in 2012 I decided to go it alone and set up my own practice at New Vision Therapy Centre and it was here I met Chris Duquemin, who introduced me to the powers of Craniosacral Therapy and then initiated me into the technique.
Inspired by Chris and also by my own positive experiences, I furthered my knowledge by training in Upledger Craniosacral therapy and now practise as part of the New Vision Therapy team.
